Hi all,
So when Yehuda posted, he forgot to blog about the wine tour we did from Barcelona. We got on a bus at 830am and headed to see 3 wineries. The first one was owned by some famous guy from LA who had a famous restaurent there. His name was Jean Leon. It was a pretty nice place to start, even though we didnt really like the wine. OOO and we were with some americans from texas and somehow the conversation ended up at how they wanted to send all the black people up to canada!! Yehuda and I were so shocked we didnt know what to say, but needless to say, we avoided them the rest of the day!
The next winery was sooooo cool!! We took a train ride through their differnet parts, and they had this video also, showing how they do certain things. It was awesome. The place was huge, or so we thought! We were very impressed. At the wine tasting, we had 3 wines and 3 cheeses to go with them. YUmmmmm!
After that winery, we were not sure the next one could beat it. Here we learned about Cava, the local champaigne through walking and videos and a great guide. Then, like the other wine tour, we hop on a train and go through their massive, like massive massive, warehouse! It was unbelievable. Then they gave us tapas and some cava to try. We were not big fans of the cava but the food was ok, too much ham for me though!
We headed back to barcelona and back to our hotel to nap. I dont remember what we did that night, oh well, probably just dinner.
