So there is this festival here in lyon called the festival of lights (Les Fete De Lumiere) and it is based on the story that mary the mother of jesus saved the city of lyon from a plague that ravaged the rest of france (or something like that). In past times they would light candles on the 8th of December, but it has now turned into a tourist thing where people come in from all over Europe to drink party, see the sights etc. Now the thing is, now the festival is about conserving energy and light shows, exibits etc. I just dont get it though. Every night going to and fromw ork the streets were packed i mean jammed packed it took so much longer to get from my house to work and back. But I decided that today, being my day off i would go. So I did. I watched the fireworks, wasnt that great, and i didnt find the light shows that cool either but i took pictures and videos on my phone and now I just have to figure it out how to upload them onto my computer so I can put them on facebook or something.
Otherwise I do miss everyone so much and I cant wait to come home... (not yet though) the stuff I wanted to do I still want to do although It wont be for a few more months since I need to make some money first.
BTW a shout out to Shanna and Todd...Please upload some pics of your condo...i think im the only one that hasnt see it yet...I'm so excited for the two of you, and I hope I can cook a nice dinner for you guys when i get back in ur kitchen....dont worry jessica will do the dishes...lol
