Work for one, fun for the other!

Hello again, Jessica here, reporting for the Goldbergs in France.

Today was a nice day, even though looking at the skys, you wouldnt think so. Yehuda again was off early to work and I slept in. Then around 1030, headed out to do some sight seeing. The weather was mild, cloudy and rainy but I went anyways. I took the train to Vieux Lyon and walked around all the old streets. It was very nice. Then I took the tram-thing up to the top of the hill to see the big church and get a nice vieux of the city. I also stumbled uopn some old roman ruins of an arena, which was pretty cool. Then, I walked back down, crossed a bridge and headed into the main part of the city. I found myself close to where Yehuda works, so I hung around there (stopping for a nutella crepe) and waiting for yehuda to get off work at 3. He met me and then we started the walk back to the apartment. We stopped at the train station to buy our tickets for our next mini vacation on Tuesday to Avignon and Aix En Provence for two days. With both of us tired and with sore feet (me from walking and him from working), we came back and took a nap. Yehuda has headed back to work, I relaxed reading, and will soon head out to dinner.

The day was nice and relaxing. It is fun to walk around and see the different sites. Tomorrow is christmas so I am not sure what will be open but there are a few things on my list that I want to see here, including the aquarium, the silk district, the jewish museum (with yehuda one day between shifts) and just more walking. I will probably just walk tomorrow and do the other things on Saturday and Sunday when things are open.

Other than that, I am happy to be here with Yehuda but also miss home, so dont worry, I will be coming back! hahaha
