Yupp at 6 am yesterday I went to Geneva Switzerland for the day. Why? Because I have an amazing wife who reminded me that I am here in Europe, and that I should take advantage of it and explore and see europe. And switzerland is only 1.5 hours from Lyon so I went.
I toured the old city, going to to visit museums, took lots of pictures, adn of course visited the red cross and the United Nations. Now at the UN, the tour guide wasnt very good but it was still cool to be in the UN buildings. I als o met a guy from Oakville ironically enough on the tour. I did some shopping and this tiem took the right train back to Lyon. Got back in time for dinner with my canadian friend and went to bed, sinc eI didnt get much sleep the night before.
Overall it was a good trip, and I enjoyed myself and I hope the enxt oen will be just as fun.
